It's Predictble, Cat Appreciation

This may be predictable for me to say because the students who have been in my class from previous years know that I love cats. Cats are cuddly, and cute. Their should be an appreciation day for cats.

First of here is a haiku about cats(I love haikus)

Small fluffy critter
or deadly little demon
you can figure out

I wrote this lat class but didn't have time to share it.

Anyways, cats these days are so easily overrun by dogs and other animals.

People always forget about the cats in the world. Cats may be fiercer then dogs, and less loyal, but that is because I am pretty sure that cats can tell if a person doesn't like them. I find that when a person doesn't like cats much, the cat doesn't like them and scratches the person. Cats may be those but their is still good things about them...

1) They kill mice and rats, people these days don't care much for rats and mice.
2) Depending on the size of dog people can't neccessarily sit on a couch and just cuddle with a dog, especially if they are a big, and outdoor dogs. Cats you can cuddle with them, they don't get really big. They usually stay a managable cudldling size.
3) Cats are a small animal, they barely get any bigger, cats would be managable animal to have aroud the house.
5) Cats purring is always warm and comforting, if your having a bad day, if you hear a cats purr you are calmer.
6)Cats are also quiter then dogs. Dogs bark, or yip and it gets incredibly annoying. You want a dog to stop barking, and sometimes they don't.

I could go on but I am going to stop...

Cats should have an appreciation day, they deserve to have more people to love them, they are easily compared negativly to dogs.

Graffiti, Good or Bad

When someone tags something it is usually really elegant, colourful, really well drawn. These people have a real talent for drawing, they just don't know how to express it in an appropriate way. I will also say that some things people draw in their tags is quite inappropriate, no everyone wants to see what they drew. Some of the things that are drawn could go on display probably because they are that good. Graffiti isn't all bad, like swearing, gang symbols and other stuff is bad. Sometimes it is advertisement and even though advertisement is really annoying it isn't necessarily illegal, it's just annoying. Their is also really creative tags. If someone were to look at it they would say "That person worked really hard on that." If I came across graffiti that someone put a lot of work into it, I couldn't agree to get rid of it, maybe even I came across really inappropriate graffiti I would take time to acknowledge their work then may want it to go away

I find the really colourful graffiti that's good and positive really lightens up a town or city if that particular town or city is really dull and gloomy.

In today's day and age I find their is more inappropriate tags, but in the possibilities of what can get drawn are more positive then negative.

One thing we all know is graffiti will never stop, it will always be constant in today's age. No matter how much we want graffiti to stop it wont.

So in the end I guess I can't really hate graffiti or really like it. It is another art from, just used in the wrong way. The taggers should possibly be acknowledged and get into some sort of program to use their gift for good instead of evil.

I can't just say I like graffiti because, even though I will take time to acknowledge the amount of time done into it if it was one of those "masterpieces," but I still won't support inapropriate graffitiwe don't need to see it. Now I can't say I absolutly hate graffiti because the other good, happy, amazing "masterpieces" I lik. I would however agree to bring down the tag total down a bit though, because their is places in the world where the graffiti count is very high, and it's basically all rude, inaproriate tags. If their is graffiti in a town or city it should be all good positive stuff, not bad and negative.

Thank-you Google for the pictures

Writer's Craft

Well Writer's Craft this year has just been a blast. I love coming up with ideas, putting them on paper, and seeing the final product. It is just so satisfying when it's all done.

We got asked to give feedback to our lovely teacher Miss Feick so here it is...

Feedback...

  1. Assignments/activities I found interesting, worthwhile helpful would probably be the writing prompts a definent keeper. I used the Boris the Worm for part of my children's story. I also find that the writing prompts' help me in waking up for following classes. yes I may be still tired but I am more awake.
  2. Assignments/activities that bore me, drive me crazy, or stress me out would probably be, well stressing me out not really any, but I always found interviews kinda boring, your just talking to one another and asking questions, getting answers their isn't much interest in them. No assignments/activities really drive me crazy, I actually found all of what we did pretty fun, but I am still not one for interviews.
  3. Blogging is just awesome...I love it. I find that we don't have many opportunities to express our own mind, express our creativity. Yes giving us topics is a good idea especially on Monday, but we need more topics to blog about involving expressing our creativity, I mean isn't writing based on creativity, we need more creative blog topics. It feels good to just relax and just write on the computer.
  4. I am looking forward to pretty much everything but more importantly I am looking forward to poetry. I love writing poetry, I used to do it all the time. I used to write about how I feel about a certain guy, how I am feeling toward my friends, and as well as myself. I use poetry to release any negativity I am feeling, towards a certain subject, and I also write about positivity. It is my sweet release of whatever I am carrying on my back. I have written so much poetry I can make a book, but I would take some out because I don't want anyone to read about that particular subject, I still wanna keep somethings to myself.
  5. Anything else well let's see, it is definitely great to receive more gifts, and you know the class will appreciate anything that's free or sugary :) If it did happen it will be greatly appreciated anyways, it is great fun to see little mini skit demos to explain something for example like the right and wrong ways to complete an interview :p Other then that I am pretty sure it's a very good class in my opinion.

How is your Initiative

  1. Well actually I am pretty good in all the areas of self improvement...except one. I believe if I really put my head in the game, I could get all my assignments in on time, and be above the average of the class, and rule it *shifty eyes plotting a plan* MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!.....Uh did I just plan diabolically on a blog....oops...I mean get all my work done on time to achieve my goal of getting in the 80s <*shifty eyes*> <*big smile*>
  2. Well, what Miss Feick can do to make us remember this call for all of Eternity is, perhaps more learning skits, it is always fun to learn important necessities in life by seeing a skit. It can be funny, it can be serious, just seeing it if it is interesting will keep our attention and perhaps even learn it even easier. You can never go wrong with sugary snacks as mentioned before(of course you don't have to) <*planning* to get sugary snacks in our systems when they are disappearing in the outside world*> I will be the most popular person in the cla-*>...Heh was I diabolically planning again, I would never do anything of the sorts <*shift eyes*> Hmm what else...well...their is always the more exciting blog topics, not like boring stuff involving historic facts and such. More creative freedom when blogging, more our pick of topics for blogs...I believe that is about all I can think of....
<*DIABOLIC PLANNING...MUAHAHAHAHA, THAT WILL DO THE TRICK...DIABOLIC LAUGHTER*>...Uhhhhhh...<*shift eyes*>...Uhhhhhhhh......Did I Just Say that aloud.

I Can't Believe it's 2011

I can't believe it's 2011 already. Where does the time go.

I like a new year because birthdays come around once again, and it just so happens that this weekend it's...MY 18th BIRTHDAY!!! Wow when did I get so old like I mean 18. What I like about the fact that I am turning 18 is because I can skip all the classes I WANT!... I mean use this privilege wisely. I am a good student...honestly.

I have come up with a few New Years Resolutions this year. For example...

Become less indecisive
Get all my marks up to the 80s at least(I know I can do it, they are already close)
Better Homework completion

What I don't like about the new year is well actually what's gonna happen next week...the school beside us is opening. In my personal opinion I think it is a stupid idea. It's gonna be for younger kids just imagine what can happen when little kids are going to school beside a highschool. Buses are getting screwed up not to mention some of the druggies and smokers at this school(sorry if offended) Some highschoolers may go over their and cause havoc for the younger children, I mean, their is only a fence separating the schools. Even with the fence they could go on the road to the school. I am sorry, I know we need another school because Canada's popularity is growing, but seriously near a highschool, I don't like it but what can I do.

I also like the new year because in a way it makes me feel new, well rather then, it makes me feel like I can build on my habits and stuff, become new. I hope to see some improvements on the country's provinces, and even this area. I like our world and I want it to stay here.

Still I love the new year because birthdays return once again.Like mine... I AM TOTALLY GONNA BE 18 ONE THE WEEKEND!!! What I am excited about my birthday, is that a crime. Wow...when did I get so old.
